Tanny Crane

Tanny has overseen the strategic vision and leadership development of Crane Group since 2003. She first joined the company her grandfather built, then called Crane Plastics, in 1987. Through the years, she’s helped usher in rapid growth and evolution, from thoughtfully selling our legacy plastics businesses to positioning Crane Group as a game-changing and values-driven investment company. Hers is a people-first mentality, and she finds daily joy in developing the next generation of Crane Group leaders. Tanny also cares deeply for her community, actively serving with the Columbus Partnership, the Reeb Avenue Center, Future Ready Columbus, I Know I Can, The Ohio State University Foundation, and the Ohio Business Roundtable. She enjoys traveling with family and lives by the Margaret Mead creed, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
