President, Screen Machine Industries
Steven Cohen is president of Screen Machine Industries (SMI), headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and is responsible for the overall operations of a business that designs, manufactures, and sells large portable crushing and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. SMI established their partnership with Crane Group in 2013.
Steven joined SMI after graduating from college, and has held several positions in the company including Production Manager, Sales Manager and Vice President before becoming President and CEO in 1998. He had the honor of representing his company, industry, and community speaking primetime at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa. Additionally, Steve was awarded two patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark office as an inventor.
Steven currently serves as the governor appointed trustee for Central Ohio Technical College, and has been involved with other boards including the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, BalletMet, and the Licking County Manufacturer’s Council.
Steven received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications from The Ohio State University.
