President, Crane Materials International
Prior to the acquisition by Crane Group, Duane joined Crane Materials International in 2001, and has been the President since 2010. In his current role, Duane serves as President / CEO, providing value-added solutions to the construction and engineering communities. The products that are produced by the company range from synthetic sheet pilings to aluminum marine access and pedestrian bridges. Crane Materials International is headquartered in Marietta, Georgia.
Duane has 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Crane Materials International, Duane held critical management roles at Fuji Films, Rexam PLC, and IPG where he managed a multi-plant manufacturing organization to achieve high-level safety, productivity, and profitability goals. His areas of responsibility included managing the day-to-day operations of multi-facet emulsion mixing / high-speed photographic paper coatings, dry film resistance coatings, and PE extrusions. Duane was also in charge of developing strategic direction and providing oversight of the management teams of each business segment.
Duane has served as a PTO president and board member for Spartanburg County School District One and the Director of County Youth Baseball in District One. Additionally, he has served as a member of several family boards.
Duane received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Florida State University, and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance from University of Phoenix. He is also a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt.
